Drishti-10 MALE UAVs Spotted in Final Preparation Stages, Anticipate Deployment to Indian Army Soon

Recent images emerging from Adani Defence indicate that the Indian Army's much-anticipated Drishti-10 Starliner drones are on the cusp of deployment. The drones, ordered from Adani Defence, appear to be in their final preparation stages, suggesting an imminent handover to the Army.

Initially slated for delivery in May, the Drishti-10 Starliner, designated IA 901, faced an unspecified delay. Once deployed at the Bhatinda base, these drones will bolster the Army's surveillance capabilities along the sensitive western border with Pakistan.

The Indian Army has procured two Drishti-10 Starliner drones under emergency provisions, highlighting their critical importance. These provisions stipulate that the systems must have a minimum of 60% indigenous content, aligning with the government's "Make in India" initiative in the defence sector.

The forthcoming deployment of these advanced drones marks a significant stride in the Indian Army's modernization drive. The Drishti-900 Starliner's sophisticated capabilities will empower the Army to conduct more effective border surveillance and maintain heightened situational awareness, contributing to national security.
